Three Good Paragraphs

I'm a designer. Design is an integral part of who I am and how I perceive everything around me. In fact, I've been designing since I was 8 years old--my third grade Invention Convention project was a television remote with a "simpler" user interface: two giant buttons. I'm constantly thinking of ways to improve graphics, layouts, interfaces and products.

I'm a learner. There's always something new to learn, whether it's from books about graphic design, A List Apart, or great interaction designers. I sometimes find myself making improvements to projects for clients whose checks have long since cleared, often because I've learned a better, cleaner, more user-friendly technique. I'm absolutely dedicated to providing solutions that reflect my full creative potential.

I'm a worker. While I certainly value my inherent sense for clean and usable design, I believe that my best asset is my ability to simply get things done in a variety of disciplines. Over the years, I've designed and developed for websites in standards and Flash, web applications, desktop applications, video games, online catalogs, print catalogs, posters, t-shirts, bottles, trucks, videos, packaging, and a whole lot more.

Fun Facts

Designer by Day

I’m a Product Designer at HUGE, where I combine my graphic design, interaction design, product strategy and interface development skills to deliver kickass interfaces for some of the web’s biggest names.

Enough Fancy Talk

Sometimes I do other things, but most of them are stereotypical designer hobbies. I take way too many photographs, draw far too infrequently, ski whenever I can, and spend boatloads of time consuming all the news and technology I can get my eyes and mitts on. Coffee is a requirement for writing xHTML. The Red Sox are wicked awesome, Newcastle on draught is to die for, and a simple ice cream sandwich can solve the vast majority of life’s problems.
